The Tiout oasis
A walk through the palm grove with a local guide, the gardens where families grow henna and mint, and the climb to the ruined kasbah for the view.
Experiences
Taroudant sits between two mountain ranges, an hour from the Atlantic. These are the days we'd plan for our own friends. Ask at reception and we'll arrange the rest.

01
A walk through the palm grove with a local guide, the gardens where families grow henna and mint, and the climb to the ruined kasbah for the view.

02
Up before dawn in harvest season (late October to November) to the purple fields, a cooperative visit, and lunch in a family house.

03
Seven and a half kilometres of rampart by horse-drawn carriage, timed so you reach Bab el Kasbah as the walls turn orange.

04
Twice a week Malika shops for the kitchen. Come along to learn the stalls, the prices and the people behind them.

05
Up the Tizi n'Test pass with a driver who knows every bend, lunch in a mountain village, and the Tinmel mosque on the way back.

06
Make bread, a salad and a tagine with Malika under the orange trees, then eat it together.
